A Trinity Alumni Homecoming
What do you get on a hot October Saturday, when you combine 65 Trinity Christian School alumni, a soccer ball, and a volleyball? You get Trinity's Homecoming games! The lady alumnae began a volleyball game in the gym, organized by Varsity Volleyball Coaches Bree Kost and Linda VerHill. The teams were organized with alumnae playing against the current Trinity varsity team. The "older" graduates held their own and they all had a great time.
On the soccer field, Varsity Coaches Mike Agate and Luke Zappa, both TCS alumni, organized the soccer teams. They mixed the teams up, with recent graduates on the same teams as "older" graduates. After a well-fought battle, one team outscored the other by six goals. Mike Agate was the leading scorer, reminiscent of his high school career. [More photos here.]
Many alumni attended to encourage the players. Some of the alumni attended from close by, but some traveled far to be a part of the festivities. One family came from Indiana to see TCS again!
